Beauty In Ruins

Hey loves, hope you’re having a good week.
One of the spring trends I love personally is the gingham trend, even though the material reminds me of my boarding school days. lol.
I made this blouse with the most beautiful balloon sleeves and peplum at the waist. I got the fabric from fabricland

The blouse project started with me making the pattern in paper before going ahead to sew the garment. Watch the pattern tutorial here & sewing tutorial here
I decided to style the blouse with white jeans and white boots for a clean look. To add glam, I added a gold belt and this Gucci inspired tiara. The location on the other hand is rundown & ironic to the polished outfit, hence the name ‘beauty in ruins’.
Here are some pictures from the shoot below.

  1. I really love this outfit. I saw your tutorial on YouTube. I am a beginner seamstress and I am hoping to be this good soon.

You make it easy to follow your tutorials.
New to dressmaking. How did you get the measurements for the front neckline and above the breast measurements in the bodice block making in your Youtube video?
