Born into a protective and loving family of Nigerian decent has definitely helped in shaping me into who I am. To be responsible, respectful, hard-working, patient, diligent and focused, amongst many other morally upright values. I’m grateful for the upbringing I have but life itself has schooled me on certain issues.
I am a product of my past mistakes, disappointments and heart breaks. Each one of them has taught me lessons. I have gotten to a point in my life where I deliberately chose to see the good in every hard time. To see the knowledge to be learnt in every unpleasant situation. It is hard on some days, especially when my emotions get the best of me. But, I remind my self after the emotional turmoil that ‘there is something to be learnt here’…
Next time you are faced with a set back, just breathe and look at the situation from another angle to see what wealth of knowledge there is within…
