For those of you that don’t know, I got engaged in the first quarter of this year and I’m overwhelmed with joy. I’m very blessed to have a man that loves and treasures me. We have both agreed on when and where we want our wedding to be. I am of Nigerian descent, Urhobo tribe of Delta state to be precise. Culture amongst other things are very important to me.
First we will be traditionally married in Nigeria. All my Nigerian friends, start saving your asoebi money *wink*. Then we plan on having a small intimate white wedding here in London with a few family and friends. Ironically, a part of me is scared about the success of the white wedding. I have to think about a venue, a wedding planner, caterers, photographer, bridesmaids, hair, a dress, a DJ and so on. The list is endless. Except my fiance’, I don’t have family here and I only have a hand full of friends to help. Oh boy!
In my attempt to find assistance for my big day, I found Bidvine. In the first two minutes of browsing through the website, I knew I had been blessed by the God of matrimony 🙌🏽 Bidvine is a tech start-up that brings together local professionals to render services in events, fitness, home improvement, technology, business and a vast array of services. I was so thrilled and started to explore straight away. I found the wedding planning sections, just what I was looking for.
To help find the right service tailored to you as well as aid the professionals understand your job request better, a few questions relevant to the service you require are asked before you submit a job offer. Bidvine sends your job request to trusted local experts in your field of interest. Interested professionals who match your job request send bids for your job offer within hours! Bids are valid for up to 4 days. You get to decide on which professional to work with amongst all the bids you’ve received. They can be contacted via email or phone on Bidvine.
The coin flips the other way too. If you are a skilled professional looking to join an online platform that gives you the opportunity to offer your expertise when requested by someone in need in exchange for an agreed fee between both parties, Bidvine is for you too. Become a service provider here.
I will certainly use a few services from the wedding planning category to ease the stress of organising a wedding all by myself. I would highly recommend this website to anyone planning a wedding like me, looking to move houses ( movers and maintenance services available), in need of fitness experts, plumbing or house-hold cleanup, looking to learn a new skill such as dancing, painting or self defence. It’s like a hat with endless experts waiting to help.
