Colossal Lashes | Maybelline Mascara Review & Giveaway!

It’s another Beauty Friday!

For this post, I partnered with the guys at WOW Free stuff. They offer free samples of perfumes, makeup and beauty products. They were kind enough to send me the Maybelline colossal volume mascara to try out! Also, stick till the end to see how you can win this fab mascara for yourself ^.-

I always wanted to try this product because I’m not the best when it comes to applying false eyelashes. I love any product that gives my lashes volume and I’ll be putting this mascara to the test to see if it’s worth all the hype.

For the purpose of this review, I swapped the regular mascara in my makeup routine for this one. I will be wearing the mascara for a whole day and document how well the mascara does. The main features I look for in a mascara are:

Ability to add length and volume
Not bleed excessively to my under eye

Okay, lets do this.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA — After applying generous coats of mascara in the morning.

So far so good. It is a descent mascara like any from a drug store. The packaging and colours are very attractive. The mascara wand has a medium sized applicator brush, this allowed me to reach the inner corners of my eye-lashes. However, I had to apply several coats of the products before I was satisfied with the look of my eye. I love dramatic eyes. The black colour is very vivid, using this mascara with eyeliner does the job perfectly *wink*

At the end of the day, there was slight bleeding to my under-eye. This happens with all the mascaras I’ve used, but it wasn’t so bad with this mascara as you can see below.
