2017 is finally here.
My heart is filled with so much gratitude. To God, first and foremost for keeping me safe and sustaining me through-out 2016. To my support system; my family, few friends and bae. In times when I felt like quitting, you guys kept me going. Thank you so much for loving me despite my many short-comings. Then to you, every single one of you that have visited the blog, read my articles, commented, liked, shared, and for being totally awesome! You beauties rock!!!! Thank you for appreciating the content I make. I hope I inspired one woman in 2016 to love herself more and chase her dreams. Every woman has the ability to look her best, have control over her life/aspirations and still have a beautiful personality. Thou should not ever neglect thy intellect in an attempt to look only pretty!

Starting from the beginning of 2016, here are my top 12 looks of 2016;
Look One – One denim shirt in six ways.
This was a style post in which I styled one denim shirt in six fun ways. This look below turned out really good -.^ I paired a white chiffon blouse with bright red jeans and pink metallic shoes. See the other five looks I created using the same denim shirt (here).
Look Two – One of the outfit ideas for Valentine in 2016. A vision of red ^.^ See the other two Valentine outfits (here)
Look Three – This elegant and girly look was created in collaboration with Smiffys U.K. This mint green dress with its gold detailing is a costume for a greek princess. I styled the dress for a cocktail guest outfit look. Read full blog post here
Look Four – What I wore for Valentine -.^ Hot sauce!
Look Five – London Fashion weekend in February, 2016. This was a tricky outfit for me because I wanted to create a look that would stand out and still be warm enough for the time of the year. I think I did a good job! What do you think? Full editorial here.
Look Six – Bring it on summer. This maxi dress was from my limited edition summer collection. The dress is a straight cut grecian gown with two side slits. At the moment, my online store is closed because of how busy fashion school has gotten, will surely relaunch in the future. Stay alert!
Look Seven – This look was the first of a three looks summer edit I curated for the blog. I love how romantic the yellow cardigan layers on the all white ensemble. Clean and modern with a touch of sass.
Look Eight – This look was created in collaboration with my high school friend and blogger babe Lapassionvoutee. We both agreed to create androgynous menswear inspired looks. I stole my boyfriend’s pants to make this look work. Sorry bae! See more pictures of this look here.
Look Nine – I guess I was still in my tomboy mood for this outfit post. I wore my fitted skinny jeans with this vibrant print jacket from my limited edition summer collection. I love this look right here. View full post here.
Look Ten – Oh this look ^.^ I got so much traction from this outfit! It was shot in the heart of summer. The lazy look of the stripe shirt blended well with the fitted mini skirt and tassel lace up sandals. You have to see the rest of this outfit post. Click here.
Look Eleven – For my birthday in August, I made this asymmetric dress. It was quite simple to make but it made me feel like a zillion bucks. I found this cream lace with diamond motif design and layered it over rose gold silk. For wow factor, I stitched around waistline beaded embroidery trimming. Watch me make the dress here.
Look Twelve – The Lemonade inspired blouse. This top was obviously influenced by the dress worn by Beyonce’ in her ‘All night’ MV. Another thing that propelled me to make this blouse was that fact that her dress was made with Ankara, I felt so proud to be African. Watch me create this stunning blouse here.
Which of the twelve outfits would you wear and where would you wear it to?
