Thank You So Much+ Birthday Giveaway

Hello Beauties

I am still recovering from the outpour of love I received on my birthday (16/08/2016). I didn’t get to do anything fancy but it was such a lovely day because of the calls, messages and gifts I received from friends & family. Even from people I didn’t expect anything from. I am so blessed to have the people I have right now in my life. I would like to thank everyone that made my birthday super special by your show of affection, may this act of kindness be reciprocated in your lives in a thousand fold{｡^◕‿◕^｡}

I got quite a lot of compliments about the dress I wore for my birthday. Luckily, I recorded the creative process of making this lovely summer dress that glammed me up on my birthday.

I made some last minute changes to the dress design. Originally I wanted to add detachable flared sleeves but left it out because I wanted to keep the dress simple.

This dress took me a few hours to make. I enjoyed every bit of the creative process, from choosing the fabric to drawing out the design. I loved every single step. Luckily enough I already had size 8 patterns cut out in paper for a bodice and circle skirt. I just adapted the pattern blocks to fit the dress design. Watch me work below ^.^
