I’ve been wanting to write about this for a while but didn’t know how to express the idea across in a way that’ll be comprehensible. I will try my utmost best to do so today.

Every single person is a unique product of Nature, no one else in the world is exactly like you.
In that sense, you are a brand! Pure, unadulterated and one of a kind. Knowing this, everyone should feel great about who they are and what they have to offer. Sadly that’s not what we see today. Some are bothered about the size of their account, past mistakes or appearance.

Dearly beloved,
If it has happened or is happening and there isn’t anything that you can do to change it,
Let it be, let it go and I promise you will be a better person at the end of the day.
Not just because I said so, you’ll have experience and learnt a lesson or two.
Money cannot buy any of these.

My focus today will be on appearance!
We live in a very virtual world where people’s initial perception of someone or something is built based on what they see. Sight is one of the basic senses of man, so you can’t blame ‘man’ for being that way. Knowing this, I’ve grown to have a deeper appreciation for the power of fashion.

The saying “Dress the way you want to be addressed”  has never been more true, especially in my generation. It is shallow I admit it, but over the past few years I’ve come to understand and apply that principle. And anyone can do the same. Not only will you be treated nicely, you’ll feel better and on most occasions more confident. I’m not saying you should spend all your income on clothes and accessories, Lord No!

Take yourself more seriously, people will struggle to see value in you if you don’t place value on yourself. Pay attention to your appearance more and you’ll notice the difference in how people treat you. You’ll be surprised! I’m opportune to work in a well known fashion company and am always on the shop floor helping customers find sizes & style. The moment they step out of the fitting room wearing the new item, I instantly see the way they raise their shoulders higher and smile even wider.

Now that we’ve established the fact that you are a brand, keep in mind that dressing will improve society’s perception of you and how you feel about yourself. Embrace who you are!!! This is not to say if you have a nasty personality, dressing good will help you get away with it. No, it wouldn’t!

I’m all for individuality and eccentricity.
Through that only can we have a beautifully diverse world.
Go with a style that depicts your very essence in the best way.
